Setting up email in Outlook 2003 (POP)
Open Outlook. Since Micro$oft assumes that you have purchased Office 2003, (I hope you have) in thanksgiving it shows you an additional two screens of blah. Setting up an HP Network Laser with a dynamic IP address on Windows
This is a continuation or rather a subset of my previous two posts on HP Network Lasers. A later discovery which I thought I should share with those who were following those posts -to complete the picture was that, both Windows XP & Vista support HP Network printers that have dynamic IP addresses. Although I still strongly recommend that you should opt for a static IP address for the sake of an easy way to access the web configuration interface, I choose to document it here if only for academic reasons.
Installing an HP Network printer on Ubuntu 9.04/9.10
Recently, I had some hiccups installing our HP P2014n printer on Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04) desktop. The installer would do all the right things and then request a download from HP after which the installer would hang.
Installing the TSC TTP-244 Plus on Ubuntu 9.10
We needed a Thermal Transfer printer for printing out patient labels with bar codes in our hospitals. After a long search, we found the TSC TTP-244 plus. I had got so used to installing stuff on Ubuntu without a driver that I was taken aback when it could not be installed. Searching the download section of the TSC Website, I noticed a driver for Fedora 10 and wondered whether it would work on Karmic as we had bought three expensive printers and the deadline for the deployment of our Hospital Information System was fast approaching.
Mountain Hardwear Lightpath2 Tent – First Look
